Registration

The registration to the 16th International Congress on Circumpolar Health is open from 1st December 2014 to 15th May 2015.

The conference  will be held on 8-11June 2015 in Oulu and on 11-12 June in Rokua, Finland. See Travel info here.

THE CONFERENCE FEES:

Early Bird fees are valid until 8th March 2015

  • Registration fee, IUCH organization member 500 EUR
  • Registration fee, non-member 650 EUR
  • Registration fee, student 350 EUR*
  • Registration fee, accompanying person 200 EUR**

After 8th March 2015

  • Registration fee, IUCH organization member 600 EUR
  • Registration fee, non-member 750 EUR
  • Registration fee, student 400 EUR*
  • Registration fee, accompanying person 250 EUR**

The registration fee includes the full program of the conference days, coffee, lunches, get-together evening on Tuesday 9th June and conference banquet in Rokua on Thursday 11th June. The fee also includes one of the optional excursions, Guided Oulu City tour or Guided tour in the University Botanical Garden and University Zoological Museum on Wednesday.

*When choosing a student registration fee (for students and PhD students) please provide a student card or other proof of student identity at the registration desk when arriving.

** The registration fee for accompanying person includes lunches, coffee, get-together event on Tuesday 9th June and conference banquet in Rokua on Thursday 11th June. The fee also includes one of the optional excursions, Guided Oulu City tour or Guided tour in the University Botanical Garden and University Zoological Museum on Wednesday. The fee does not include attendance to the scientific program or the conference material (except name badge).

The conference fees are free of the value added tax (VAT). As a non-profit organization, Thule-Institute, is not liable to the value added tax (Arvonlisäverolaki  4 §).

When registering the fees can be paid with credit card, Finnish online bank or by invoice (invoice fee 10 EUR will be added). Please read through the terms of reservation.

The registration is binding. Make sure that you have all the information needed when proceeding to the registration form.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Registration is binding. Notifications, amendments and cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail, fax or airmail) to Konffa Ltd. The fee for any amendments is 8 EUR/ registration. Should there be any mistakes in the given registration details, the fee for correction will be 8 EUR.

  • Cancellations will be accepted until 18th May 2015 with a refund of all paid fees, less an administration charge of 50 €.  
  • After 18th May 2015 no refunds will be given.

Force Majeure, health related issues
Should there occur an insuperable obstacle related to a registered person’s health, the refund will be made in full, less an administration charge of EUR 50.00. Cancellation must be made in writing (by e-mail, fax or airmail) to Konffa Ltd. An official and original medical certificate must be presented within two (2) weeks of the cancellation notification. Konffa Ltd recommends all-inclusive travel insurance.
